First women’s center to be opened in Manbij

MANBIJ – The first women’s center in Manbij will be opened on November.

Institutional activities within the scope of rebuilding new life in liberated Manbij have continued. Women, who faced the atrocity during the occupation of Daesh, are opening their own centers. Mala Jin (Women’s House) will be opened in the city with the support of Manbij Civilian Council.

Manbij Civilian Council Co-chair Ebîr Receb stated that the preparation of the opening continues and said, “This is a step towards the construction of a democratic and free society. Women will have their own center in order to solve their problems. We are planning to open the first women’s center on Novemer at the latest.”
